1. WordPress is very popular and is being updated constantly. This means there is a strong following and a secure future for WordPress.
2. WordPress is highly customisable, which is very useful when a customer asks for a specific problem to be solved.
3. Google and Bing seem to love WordPress. Because it is a blogging platform every time a new article is published it is soon recognised by the search engines.

What is a WordPress theme?
A WordPress theme is developed to change the layout and design of a website including typography and colour. Themes customize the appearance of a site and can make a massive difference to how accessible your website will be. Every theme is different and each theme designer decides what are the most important options to include. I only use themes that load quickly with very little code like the Schema WordPress Theme. Website download speed and accessibility are the two most important things I consider when I choose a theme. If the website takes more than a few seconds to load then you are going to lose a lot of customers.
