This blog is now iPhone friendly and we are focussing on making all our websites iPhone, iPad and Android friendly. I am posting this on the blog using an iPhone to see how easy it is and I have to say its a great system. We have combined a wordpress blog with wptouch and the result is a blog that can me viewed easily by 90% of browsers on large and small screens. Web Design – There is more to good web design than how it looks

I have seen web design change over the last fifteen years. When it all started we we limited with HTML and static websites. Then macromedia flash (now adobe Flash) changed everything. Now apple has decided not to support flash everything has changed again. One thing that has not changed, and never will in my opinion is the need for simple navigation and logical web page design. Web design is not just about the site looking good its about the construction of all the elements to make it easy to use, quick to load and easy to find on search engines such as google. The need for pages that download quickly is more important than ever now as mobile devices such as the ipad are viable alternatives to a standard computer. 3G may offer faster download but as you will see, its not broadband level.
